Eurovignette Brochure and Fact Sheet

The CER brochure “Making Europe’s Mobility Sustainable” is an extensive review of the current situation for freight transportation in Europe, the external costs of transport, and the compelling arguments for applying the “polluter pays principle” and revise the Eurovignette Directive. The brochure also presents the related important experience of the Swiss heavy vehicle fee. The brochure is now available in English, French, German and Polish.

The CER factsheet on external costs presents, in a very condensed way, the facts and figures related to external costs of transport and why a revision of the Eurovignette Directive is necessary to create a level playing field between road and rail freight transportation.
