Targeted review of the General Block Exemption Regulation: extension to national funds combined with certain Union programmes

In July 2019 the European Commission launched a public consultation on the review of the General Block Exemption Regulation with the view to extend its scope to national funds combined with certain Union programmes. The General Block Exemption Regulation (“GBER”) sets which public support measures can be granted by the Member States without prior notification to the Commission.
