EurailFreight 2007 Declaration

At the third CER EurailFreight conference, the stakeholders of the rail freight sector represented by the CER, UIC, EIM and UNIFE signed a joint declaration on the companies' contribution to a sustainable freight transport system throughout Europe.

In the declaration, the signatories subscribe to the development of a primary freight network, the use of the most modern technology available in order to increase efficiency of rail freight transport and to open market and the "user-pays-principle".
