Investing in Rail for EU competitiveness, resilience, sustainable growth

Organised by the Polish State Railways (PKP) and CER in good cooperation with the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, the event 'Investing in Rail for EU competitiveness, resilience, sustainable growth', was an opportunity to discuss rail investment priorities, take stock of current funding and financing experiences and exchange on the next EU budget.

Speakers included Piotr Malepszak, Deputy State Secretary, Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland; Alan Beroud, CEO of PKP Group and CER Vice-Chair; MEP Dariusz Joński; MEP Carla Tavares Co-Rapporteur for the next MFF; MEP Siegfried Mureşan Co-Rapporteur for the next MFF; Herald Ruijters, Deputy Director-General DG MOVE; and CER Executive Director Alberto Mazzola.
